CHICAGO, Aug. 6, 2020 – Legacy Business Development, a full-service marketing and development firm, was honored for outstanding third-quarter financial results achieved on the behalf of a top client. Earning the award for the first-ever time in business history, Legacy Business Development was presented with the Campaign Trophy at a special awards ceremony held by The Business Council of Greater Chicago.

Named as the recipient of the “Commendation of Excellence” and the “Campaign Cup” at this year’s event, Legacy is one of the nation’s leading direct-marketing and advertising firms that has established itself as an industry leader. “The Campaign Cup” recognizes outstanding contributions from a business marketing or advertising firm to their community, region or country. The Campaign Cup is awarded every two years by the Conference of the Americas. The Campaign Cup serves as an indicator of how much a marketing or advertising agency has accomplished during their professional existence.

During the presentation, Legacy was honored as one of the winners of the “Commendation of Excellence” and the “Campaign Cup” presented by the Campaign Conference and The Conference of the Americas. As a final recognition, the firm received an award from The Campaign Conference of Excellence.

During the presentation, Legacy was formally introduced as a corporate partner of The Campaign Conference of Excellence and one of the leading direct-marketing firms in the nation. In addition, the firm was formally introduced as one of the “Best Small Businesses” in the region and one of “10 Best in North America.”

In the second half of the presentation, Legacy was also honored as a member of the “Network of Business Executives and Marketing Professionals,” an exclusive group of leaders committed to transforming the way companies think about marketing and branding and to increase sales and revenue. As part of the Network, Legacy will work closely with the Conference of the Americas’ “Centers of Trade,” which includes the Conference Board of Directors, the Presidents of the Conferences, and the Executive Director of The Conference of Americas. The Centers of Trade are charged with developing strategies that foster better relationships among business leaders, media, government and other stakeholders and their communities to create awareness, develop awareness and provide leadership.

For this award, Legacy was honored for their “Commendation of Excellence,” which is given for outstanding contributions in marketing to their community, region or country during the previous quarters. The “Commendation of Excellence” and the “Campaign Cup” are a reflection of Legacy’s commitment to excellence.

In addition to being named as one of the “Commendation of Excellence” recipient, Legacy was also honored for being a “Best Small Business” with a designation of the “Best Small Business in America” with an award from The Campaign Conference of the Americas. In addition, The Campaign Conference of the Americas presented Legacy with an award for outstanding contributions to the development of the Midwest region. Also receiving an award was the firm’s President, Jeff Marget, who received an award for his contribution to the marketing profession.
